About:

I consider myself a scientist.

I spent two decades in academia as a climate data scientist. I also served twice as a sole principle investigator for NSF awards. Since 2015, I have extended my interests to a variety of industry areas, such as healthcare, education, retail, service, and online-bidding.

The depth (academia) and breath (industry) of my data training positioned me well to uncover business values in data and build services and products for customers.

This blog covers some of my perspectives on deep learning, machine learning, and computer algorithms.

NSF Principle Investigator:

1. Drake Passage oceanic pCO2: Evaluating CMIP5 Coupled Carbon/Climate Models using in-situ observationsi: 3/28/2011 - 3/31/2012.

2. Role of Physical Processes in the Southern Ocean CO2 Sink: 7/16/2014 - 12/31/2016.
